M2 Architecture served as the Associate Architect with Design Architect, Overland Partners, Architects for a new Horticulture Center at the University of Pennsylvania’s Morris Arboretum. The project, located on the historic Bloomfield Farm site, includes offices, maintenance facilities, parking and vehicle storage..

The goals of the project, developed through a collaborative visioning process, are ambitious. First, the building is to achieve a LEED Platinum certification. Second, the facility will strive to become a carbon-neutral facility. Finally, these goals must be met in a welcoming, joyous and beautiful building, appropriate for the artistic and design heritage of the Arboretum.
