WRT moved its 125 person architecture, planning and landscape architecture office into newly designed LEED-CI Gold Certified space in 2004. The green features of the design include careful attention to daylighting and automatic control of artificial lighting to minimize energy consumption for illumination. Light shelves, photo sensors and interior color selections were all factors in this system. Materials were selected to maximize recycled content and local manufacture, and to minimize off-gassing and VOC emissions. The firm purchases 50% of its electricity from Pennsylvania wind farms.

Muscoe Martin served as a member of the Design Committee for this project and as the LEED Accredited Professional while with WRT.
